Join Cyclorama Speech & Drama and the Drama Department at Elmhurst School this summer as we bring Robin Hood to life in an action-packed week of singing, acting, dancing and creativity.

Designed for children aged 6-11, our summer school gives young performers the chance to rehearse and stage a full musical production in just five days. Along the way they'll build confidence, make new friends, develop performance skills and experience the excitement of working as part of a cast.

The week culminates in a fully staged performance for family and friends, complete with costumes, set and lighting, giving every child the chance to shine on stage.

Whether your child already loves performing or is simply looking for a fun, creative week during the holidays, we'd love to welcome them.

Our programme is designed so young actors build skills across both stage and screen, with terms focusing on technique, live performance, and screen acting across the year. We believe it’s so important to prepare the next generation for all these skills!

I took a recent group of GCSE Drama students to see Life of Pi for their live theatre review paper when it was on tour and it was FANTASTIC!

So much to write about for both design and acting!

If you haven’t seen it check it out on @nationaltheatre at home!

And if you’d like a video on how to answer a live theatre review question, drop the word ‘review’ in the comments 🎭🥳

I always tell my students (be that GCSE, A Level or LAMDA) that you only get to do your performance once, so enjoy it! Do it how you think it should be done! If the examiner doesn’t like it, at least you will be happy with your acting choices (and 🤫🤫 the examiner almost always enjoys it when you do this!)

It’s your stage and you deserve to be on it! So go for it!
